It is made from a sun dried fruit shell of coffee cherries. This lot of cáscara is made from the fruit of caturra and catimor coffee trees, and was produced in Northern Thailand by various smallholder farmers in Khun Lao area.
It’s great hot and with ice. Cáscara, means ‘shell’ in spanish. Also it is very rich in antioxidants and vitamins.
To brew we recommend using a french press or a teapot at a ratio of 8g of cáscara to 250ml boiling water. Brew for 4 minutes. Enjoy!
